  1. “The series was especially loved by female viewers receiving a female audience rating of 10 percent while receiving a male audience rating of only 4 percent.”
lol, the men are jealous of Joseon F4… 😉 SKKS’ casting was brilliant, hard to find 3 hot guys who can act in one drama.

hope SKKS will win a prize, definitely deserves it…and another feather in Chunnie’s cap!

  4. Here is a link to the website for the Festival:

Also, here is a brief summary from Wikipedia…

The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) is a yearly gathering of artists, fans, and executives to celebrate independent small-screen productions. It was founded in 2005, and is held in venues in New York City.

The festival sponsors the Independent Pilot Competition to showcase original television pilots to industry executives. NBC Universal, A&E, and Versus have all purchased pilots first demonstrated at the competition, while pilots have drawn attention from networks and production companies.

Besides the Competition, parties, seminars, and other events honor television as an institution and as an art form. It features a “Premiere Week” screening series, which now debuts new shows from networks including NBC, ABC, Fox, CBS, The CW, and HBO. It also sponsors Industry Day, in which television executives and policy-makers publicly discuss contemporary issues and future trends of the industry. Digital Day provides a forum for discussions and screenings of web series.

Congratulations to Park Yoochun and the entire production team of SKKS, for even being a part of the list of finalists. Whatever the outcome, you have managed to make a name for yourselves in in the international television industry. GOOD JOB!!!

    • That awesome right? whatever win of not but the drama in the final list it so cool already ^___^..but if win wowoowo…kekek……MOMY – Hen ….miss you and sisters
Thank you for your BD wish again…..love you!!

      • Love you too! Yes, they already are winniers for being part of this festival. This is the kind of legit recognition that follows when you do quality work. YC chose well when he chose SKKS. That’s all that needs to be said. 😉

    • @BAF
      Wow. You are cool.
At least we have a better idea now on what this is all about.
      THANK YOU~!

Congratulations Park Yoochun and team for making it to the list of finalists.
Whatever the outcome, this is already a great achievement by itself. So proud of you!

    • “NBC Universal, A&E, and Versus have all purchased pilots first demonstrated at the competition, while pilots have drawn attention from networks and production companies.”

I know it’s not a pilot, but it’d be so cool if SKKS was picked up to air in the US. I know they sometimes remake foreign shows, but SKKS is *so* Korean it wouldn’t work with a western setting/actors. Plus, the production value is already top notch.

I didn’t get a chance to go through the entire site, but my guess is in checking out international programming, they are making sure the diversity factor remains in play over here. It simply pays to be connected to other cultures. Besides, there are a number of local public access channels that show international programming.

That’s how I got hooked on Kdrama around 2003. I started watching them on a public access station and that was it. I was already watching telenovelas. So, SKKS being a part of this festival is a natural. I’m just happy as a clam that it is one of the shows being featured. I’m having a hard time imagining any of the ones associated with ‘you know who’, would ever make it to this level. Ok, snarky but I don’t care. 🙂

  5. I hope it wins! The writer was/is a genius and the cast were just plain awesome in acting. The directors and PD’s did great as well. Great infusion of awesome background musics and sounds made the drama even more exciting to the senses. SKKS was awesome!

    • @Love

exactly… I cant find a flaw in SKKS.. The story, the casts, the script… Everything is just perfect just like our chunie~~~~~ Hope they win..

i want chun or JYJ 😛 to appear in at least one movie with brad pitt or tom cruise pleaseee??? my dirty secret pleasure~ <33

    • ” is it too much if i can smell of opportunity for chun to appear in hollywood movie?? ” i want him to be famous in Hollywood as well… But as far as i know, most of the Asian actors who appeared in Hollywood movies, they didnt meet my expectation.. May be because there is the culture and the personality difference.. I dont want chun to be like this.. I dont know.. I cant make up my mind if i am willing to see him in hollywood movies or not~~~ 😉

BP or TC??? ummm… @_@ ok well… u can wish anything u want, right?? Its ok girl… 🙂

  7. “i want chun or JYJ to appear in at least one movie with brad pitt or tom cruise pleaseee??? my dirty secret pleasure~ <33"
