Group JYJ appeared in KBS drama ‘Ojakyo Brothers’, which has become hot topic.
In the latest episode of ‘Ojakyo Brothers’ aired on Feb 19, big sister Kim Minsook (Jeon Miseon) asked the wife of 2nd brother Choi Suyoung (Choi Jungyoon) who was working for a broadcast station, “How is the JYJ’s signed CD that I asked you last time? Our Hana is waiting.”
Park Yoochun is bringing laughter to the viewers mix and match look consisting of a track suit and the ikseonkwan. (ikseonkwan = royal headdress a King or a crown prince would have worn while conducting the daily business.)
Park Yoochun tweeted a picture on February 18th. In the picture, Park Yoochun smiles wearing a red tracksuit, topping it off with the ikseonkwan with a coffee cup in his hand.
Park Yoochun plays the role of the crown prince who has slipped through time from the past to the modern day Seoul on SBS‘s new drama ‘Attic King’. The look Park Yoochun is wearing is a mix-and-match across time and space that introduces us to the basis of the drama.
Some of the netizens who came across the unusual look of the handsome Park Yoochun commented, “The crown prince of Joseon in a track suit. It’s already fun”, “Just the picture alone gets my anticipation going for the drama”, and “I wanna see the drama already!”
The youthful cast of Rooftop Prince poses for a few light-hearted sel-cas featuring a mix of Joseon-era garb and modern-day wear, which in Yoochun‘s case translates into a tracksuit topped with a kingly hat. Even a prince has gotta be comfortable on the set, don’tcha know.
Above is the crown prince’s posse, which consists of Choi Woo-shik, Lee Min-ho, and Jung Seok-won, all of whom travel with him to the 21st century to confront newfangled current-day Korea with (I’m hoping) hilarity and hijinks. Because that premise is just made for hijinks. A crown prince confronting computers and cell phones and toilets? Not to mention the look I want to see on his face when he realizes that the monarchy is long gone. Sorry, buddy, you’ll have to stand in line with all the other commoners.
Pictured below is series lead Han Ji-min as the princess, who’ll have a modern-day doppelganger who captures the prince’s heart. Man. And I thought King Hwon’s [The Moon that Embraces the Sun] eight-year pining for a dead girl was extreme. That’s a drop in the angst bucket (full of teaaaars, naturally) next to Princey’s 300-year torch-carrying.
Rooftop Prince airs on SBS beginning March 14. I’m crossing my fingers for a fun ride.
Actor Lee Min Ho and Park Yoo Chun uploaded a ‘dignifying’ picture that they took themselves.
On the morning of February 18, Lee uploaded a picture and tweeted, “Your majesty, is this something calledselca (self-taken picture)?”
Wearing costumes for the episode of SBS TV’s Rooftop Prince that will air on March 14, Park Yoo Chun, Lee Min Ho, Jung Seok Won, and Choi Woo Sik are making silly expressions.
Park especially attracted attention by looking all dignified like a prince. Park commented, “Tell Yong Sool(played by Jung Seok Won) to smile a bit. And I see that Chi San is so happy not worrying about his way back to Joseon.”
The shooting of Rooftop Prince, which is scheduled to air starting in March, was captured by many Japanese fans.
A Japanese fan named “Ahkina” uploaded many pictures with the text “This morning in Myeongdong, shooting for the drama Rooftop Prince began”.
Embedded in the post are pictures of Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min, who appeared to be immersed in the shooting. With the staff around them preparing to shoot, the two stood facing each other. Their characters in the drama fall in love, so the shooting created a very heart-pounding atmosphere.
In particular, Han Ji Min’s luminous beauty even in a crowd as well as Park Yoochun’s traditional clothes in the midst of a city environment were especially captivating.
Netizens responded to the pictures with a variety of reactions such as “I am already anticipating the first episode”, “These two seem compatible just from photos”, “It is funny to see such scenes shot in the center of the city”, and “Han Ji Min really does have a glowing beauty”.
JYJ member Kim Junsu recently went on an extreme diet which caused him to loose 6kgs and amaze everyone around him with his changed appearance.
JYJ’s official agency, C-JeS Entertainment, met with reporters and stated “As of late, Kim Junsu has lost 6kgs. His change after loosing the weight is so great that his face looks quite different and even those around him can barely recognize him”
In fact, after loosing the 6kgs, Kim Junsu’s agility has increased and his features such as his chin and jawline have become more prominent, giving him the look of a totally different person. It is a great change from the cute image that Kim Junsu was known for before.
Even though a person such as him did not have any weight to loose, Kim Junsu decided to go on a chicken breast diet because of his starring role in the musical ‘Elisabeth’. In the musical, his character often wears revealing sheer clothes, so he chose to loose weight and sculpt his body in order to show his fans a more handsome side of Kim Junsu.
JYJ’s Kim Junsu may not be unfamiliar to you, but he has a new title – musical actor Kim Junsu. It has been 2 years since his debut in ‘Mozart!’. When news of his debut in ‘Mozart’ broke, we thought that he was just venturing into another field, but he went on to act in ‘Tears of Heaven’ and ‘Elisabeth’ and became one of the leading respectable musical actors with star quality. Days before the premiere of ‘Elisabeth’, we met up with a passionate Kim Junsu.
To Kim Junsu, his debut in the musical “Mozart!” was a risky challenge. While experiencing strife with his management company in 2009, he chose the musical ‘Mozart!’ as his first step after eight months of vacuum. He had never been interested in musicals. “In the end, the first musical I saw was the musical that I would act in,”he laughs. But, he emphasized: “If I were to count my biggest challenge in life, it would be acting in musicals.” Continue reading
