JYJ Kim Jaejoong was invited to the Presidential Palace of Turkey, which is gathering hot attention. This invitation means that he has been treated as a state guest.
This dinner invitation took place along with the visit of President Lee Myung-bak in Turkey. According to ‘Joongang Daily’, President Lee originally planned to visit 4 countries in the Middle East. He was supposed to talk with Turkish young people about the Korean Wave but the Turkish government has expressed opinion, “We hope that he do it with the most popular Hallyu singer in Turkey.” Therefore, it was decided that Kim Jaejoong would be summonned to the Presidential Palace of Turkey.
An official of Korean Cultural Center in Turkey said, “Among Korean singers, we invited Kim Jaejoong of famous group JYJ to hold fanmeeting, which was expected to contribute to the increase cultural exchanges between the two countries.”
Kim Jaejoong’s management company said, “All three members of JYJ are really popular abroad but Kim Jaejoong’s popularity is especially high.”
Before visiting the Presidential Palace, on the 5th, Kim Jaejoong also held a solo fanmeeting in Ankara. This fanmeeting gathered 600 people. It was known that more than 2000 people have applied. Kim Jaejoong was the first Korean singer to hold solo fanmeeting in Turkey. The auditorium was full of 600 fans and they sang happy birthday song for him in Korean.
President Lee arrived in Turkey on the 4th. On the 6th, along with President Lee, Kim-ssi attended the meeting with Turkish students at University of Ankara. In the evening of that day, he was with President Lee in a state dinner at the Presidential Palace of Turkey.

Turkey expressed a wish to meet with “the most popular Hallyu singer in Turkey, Kim Jae Joong.” Is the President of Korea’s face red enough with embarrassment that in HIS OWN COUNTRY Kim Jae Joong continues to be banned from a multitude of professional activities because of the criminal acts and the personal vendetta of one of its largest entertainment companies? How about the fact that he gave a presidential pardon to the head of that very same company, who was tried and convicted of a massive stock fraud and was on his way to prison?

Of course it’s KJJ representing JYJ and his beloved country where he and his brothers are blacklisted in the industry they belong to.
KBS said that they can’t let JYJ perform on TV since they are on a lawsuit and appearing on tv might influence the result. Now these string of international ambassadorship given to JYJ and this state visit, the SK President himself presented Jaejoong as a representative of that Korean Wave and as an Honorary Ambassador, won’t it affect the lawsuit? Is the president not cautious to be with a person embroiled with a lawsuit in their country? Does he know about the lawsuit ? and if he does, maybe he believes on what JYJ is fighting for, or he doesn’t care at all……so many questions , KBS, KFPCAI,KEPA where are you, any comment from you?

If JYJ have been recognized and honored with several ambassador titles by prestigious international organizations, as well as some government offices, and even recently invited as a state guest together with the South Korean President, no less…how come it’s taking so long for the lawsuit to be settled? How come some organizations continue to trample their rights? … these leaves me wondering, tsk!tsk!tsk!
but nonetheless, this news is making me so happy right now.
Jae and JYJ deserves this so much because for me, they have proven themselves as role models, genuine artists, and upright citizens that is why they are loved by so many across cultures 🙂

Omg! I am so proud. This just shows that even without appearing in Music shows, JYJ’s popularity still remains. Their hardwork is paying off and even the president of Korea recognizes him. They should be officially made ambassadors of the Hallyu wave. 😀
