It’s a Blythe doll, they were very popular in the 1960’s and are very rare to find in mint condition (and in the box). I’m not sure if this one is an original one from the 60’s, because usually the super rare ones that I’ve seen have red hair.
Anywho! The pull string on the back of the doll is for their eyes. When you pull the string the eyes turn to reveal a different color. I think there are 4 different colors (blue, green, auburn, and purple).
Either way, this was a really sweet gift!! Although, I have to say, when I saw that Jae had taken her out of the box, I was like, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” LOL!!!

The originals probably are rare but if you do a Google search you find that you can buy them in several countries in Asia. Except Japan. http://www.blythedoll.com/eng/shopinfo/shoplist.html.

it make me remember we used to do that when we exchange present in Christmas,we wrap multiple layer & multiple boxes to make present big,actually there is only a chewing gum inside

I do that too but with normal presents or I take a very big box and I put several presents there in smaller boxes and then I cut paper and put them inside the bib box, with confetti to hide the boxes. My friends sometimes do this too.

we put only chewing gum inside then the one who got look really jealous of others present and little angry by unwrapping multiple layer,at that time we pull out the real present and give is so much fun that way

Well, Blythe Doll are typically big eyes and big heads. Kinda creepy but some people do collect them as they are able to change the eyes colours and mix and match clothes and accessories.
